Low-Cost Dental Care
The Indiana Dental Association, a constituent society of the American Dental Association, serves Indiana dentists by promoting professionalism and improving oral health in the state. The IDA fulfills its mission by providing professional resources such as publications, continuing education, and memberships to various dental associations, sharing resources for kids like games and dental health reward systems, and by providing low-cost dental care through Indiana Medicaid.
Paying for check-ups and other dental needs can be extremely costly. However, engaging in routine appointments is essential to the improvement of dental health for adults and children. Considering that 40% of children have tooth decay by the time they enter kindergarten, investing in dental care seems like an obvious solution. With February being National Children’s Dental Health Month, we’re highlighting the services IDA offers, in order to give families hope of providing and receiving excellent, low-cost dental care.
The IDA provides a solution to the expensive, yet necessary, care needed by dental professionals. Many dentists within the Indiana Dental Association provide services at low or no cost to the patient. “This comprehensive listing of free and low-cost dental clinics is intended to be used by and for Indiana constituents to increase access to dental care and improve Indiana’s oral health.”
